ELEVATE CO-FOUNDER TALKS ABOUT CREATION OF THE AGENCY

June 13, 2019

The June 2019 issue of PharmaVOICE has a featured article about entrepreneurs and their passion to improve the lives of patients. Elevate founding partner Frank X. Powers was highlighted, where he discussed the origins of Elevate, born from the marketplace need he and his partner recognized—a need that was worth taking the risk.

Powers said, “There were whole segments of our market that needed more attention from experienced talent. Elevate was created to fill that void.”

Powers and his partner Lorna Weir saw what was going on in their business and understood that shifting to a new business model, with a new organization, was the next natural step. The mission was to create a company that raised the standards of service and creative that clients have access to. Both of Frank’s parents are successful entrepreneurs, so starting a company from the ground up is in his DNA. But that also means he was more familiar with the risks involved.

On the official launch of Elevate, Frank says “I was at our conference table with colleagues thinking this is the end of a long process, and also just the beginning.”

The success Elevate has seen since each year since has been even more satisfying for Frank and Lorna, neither of whom took a salary until the business could comfortably handle it. Of all Frank’s amazing accomplishments, included being a two-time member of the PharmaVOICE 100, launching Elevate ranks first for him.
